8×4 00 track plan ideas

Good morning from Scotland. I’m starting out on a 8×4 board on DC. I have OO gauge trains and track from 45 years ago. I’ve looked at you tube , track plan books etc and my head hurts. I have acquired a new turntable and Hornby suspension bridge that o would love to use. I know that 8×4 is tight for both of these but I’m sure someone out there would be able to help this struggling Scotsman with ideas thanks in advance. Ian Dickie
